he is not a God far off
he is a God near
he doesn't stand aloof
over there
looking us up and down
at a distance
he is so near
up so close
that all he can see
is our heart
and he whispers
"I love you"
For the LORD does not see as man sees; for man looks at the outward appearance, but the LORD looks at the heart.” I Samuel 16:7

ReplyDeleteOh Pam,
ReplyDeleteJuanita just turned me on to your blog site .
It is breathtaking . Tears flow as I see He has resurrected you in light of reading your writings . You have the gift of divine poetry & photography.
May I follow you ?
Love, Beth
brenda, when i went on my walk this morning i took my camera along. the closer i got to the flowers and buds, the more beauty there was to see as the lens got "up close and personal"!
ReplyDeleteit's that way with people too ~ the closer we get to them, the more we can see their beautiful hearts!
p.s. thank you so much for putting me on your site today, and for all your encouraging words!
beth, how fun to hear from you!! i'm so glad you enjoyed my blog...yes, as you can imagine, i have been on quite a journey but it is encouraging to see how God is slowly resurrecting and giving me confidence in my creative gifts.
ReplyDeletei didn't know you had a blog, and i vaguely remember juanita saying you did watercolors. i LOVE watercolors, and your artwork is beautiful! what an awesome gift you have!
